About Work At Home Crafter

Welcome to Work at Home Crafter, where I feature ideas and inspiration to help craft-loving moms find ways to work from home, doing what they love.

Let me introduce myself…  My name is Jennifer.  I am a Christian mom of 4, happily married to my high school sweetheart for almost 25 years now.

I have been truly blessed to have been able to work from home since my son was a baby – he is 19 now.  I can’t tell you how much it meant to me to be able to be at home with my kids all those years.  I was able to be with them when they were sick, chaperone class field trips, and see every milestone.  I never take that for granted – ever.

Now I feel like God is calling me to share what I have learned over the last 19 years so I can help other moms who desperately want to work from home so they can be there for their own children.  I know it is a cliche – but where there is a will there is a way.  And if you are feeling led to stay home with your kids, then trust me – God will make a way for you to earn an income from home so you can!  I hope in some small way, that God will use my site to help you on your journey.

About my work at home journey:

I started my journey to becoming a work at home mom by selling on a small scrapbooking auction site.  At first, I sold punched shapes and handmade scrapbook embellishments.  As my income grew, I  then invested in a commercial die cut machine and added scrapbooking die cuts to my inventory.

In addition to that now-defunct scrapbooking auction site, I sold my products on eBay and created my own online store.  When Etsy was created, I started selling there as well.  Although my focus is no longer on scrapbooking embellishments, I still to this day generate a significant income selling paper crafts and supplies on eBay and Etsy.

Ten years ago, I discovered blogging and added that as an additional income stream.  I generate income through blogging by Amazon affiliate sales and site advertisements.  If you want to see my site for inspiration, you can check it out at CreativelyHomemade.com.

Back in 2013, I became a Stampin Up demonstrator and currently generate Stampin Up sales through posting craft tutorials on my blog, as well as on YouTube.

Currently I earn a full time income from eBay, Etsy, blogging, and Stampin Up.  Through this site, I hope to teach other moms that they can do the same.

What you can expect to find at WorkAtHomeCrafter.com:
